Pumpkin carving has reached a new level of finesse now that there are templates to carve with. These templates can be printed out and laid out over the pumpkin to allow for precise cutting and sculpting. Using the templates as guides allows the carver to make intricate patterns or pictures out of their pumpkin. There are templates for almost anything you could be looking for; ranging from ghosts and ghouls to presidents and unicorns.
With jackolantern templates the sky is the limit. There is no more need to stencil outlines on the pumpkin before beginning to carve. Just cut a hole in the pumpkin, clean out the insides, place the template on the pumpkin, and start cutting where the template shows. If followed, the pumpkin should look just like the template and then all you need is a candle and some trick or treaters. Let’s hope there are more treats then tricks.
