A template is a pre-developed page layout in electronic or paper media used to make new pages with a similar design, pattern, or style. Or can also be defined as a Form letter, a predefined letter which retains its primary intent when individually customized with variable data or text.

On the Avery webpage at http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/Templates-%26-Software/Templates/Cards/Postcards you can find the acorn, autumn, babies, baseball, bees, beige, birthdays, birthday trains, Christmas, Halloween, and many more. The cards are set up so that once the template is downloaded the only work to be done is to put all the information that you want on the card, onto the card.
Postcard templates can be bought in stores or online so that once all the information is properly placed into the templates all that has to be done is to load the postcard paper into the printer and have the information printed onto the postcard paper.
